I am super excited to announce that my 1st publication is now out in Fons & Porter's QUILTY Magazine!!!
I am so proud to be included in this issue! There are several great hexagon patterns in this issue as well as an awe inspiring article on the La Passaglia Millefiori, featuring Tula Pink's version of the Quilt ( have I mentioned she's my favorite fabric designer? )
There is even a page with my pattern on the Fons & Porter's website that has a demo on English paper piecing!
This Quilt was so much fun to make! It is all English paper pieced (aka hand sewn!)
I used Kim Kight's newest fabric line: Yours Truly,
from
Cotton + Steel. I feel in love with this line as soon as I saw it at Quilt Market of fall 2016!!
I even used the corresponding thread collection that was just released by Sulky for Cotton + Steel!!
It was a dream to work with for both the hand sewing and the actual quilting of Hexie, and would recommend their thread to anyone!
